This last weekend at Salt Lake Comic Con’s Fan X was amazing. I only had one panel, but we had a blast. I sold a decent number of books, too. What made this convention so much more awesome? Three people.
Each of them came to me and said something similar. “I bought your book last time and I loved it, so I want more.”
This book includes amazing stories by 9 authors. It isn’t “optional” like the Borderlands Anthology, though. These stories are machine monks, separated from the main group, and their struggles after the saboteur comes back to wreak more havoc on the world. It’s part of the main story line, so you absolutely must read it before the series climax comes out later this year. If you are following the Actuator series and only want your books in paper, the time has finally arrived.
They went with a different cover, but it’s the same Actuative goodness. The audiobook is $24.99 on Audible, but if you have the e-book already, you can get the audio through Whispersync for just $3.49! It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out you should buy the e-book, then the audiobook either way. The book on CD is $29.99. Either one, comes out February 28.
Today and tomorrow, Windows into Hell is just 99 cents! It’s been tearing up the Amazon charts, ranking #8 in all Horror and #8 in all Religion & Inspirational. I’ve ranked in Horror before, but this is my first bestseller in Religion. Those are not even subcategories. Not only that, but the contributing authors have been all over the Amazon Top Authors page with yours truly ranking at #21 in Horror and #61 in Religious & Inspirational. That’s just now, it’s not even finished! With 21 reviews, not a single one is below 4 stars. If you want more information, check out my Windows into Hell page. This book is getting amazing reception, so grab it while it’s hot.
At long last, it’s finally finished! The full version of The Actuator Role-playing Game mod. You can use this guide to turn any RPG into a multi-genre campaign. It comes with two free short stories set in the Actuator universe as well. What’s better than that? It’s FREE!
I always like going to conventions. I’ve been going for years and I have quite a line up for 2017 already on my appearances page. Usually I split a table with several authors to cut costs and do several panels in trade for a free ticket and some food. Today, for the first time, a convention offered to pay me! That’s a big step! There’s usually a hierarchy of guests at these things, so breaking into the next level is really exciting. So my new favorite convention is Snake River ComicCon in Pocatello!
If that’s not enough good news for one day, Immortal Works also published the audiobook of one of my short stories for Flash Fiction Friday! It’s short, just 7 minutes. They’ve been doing some amazing short stories every week for months. If you have iTunes, go to the store under podcasts and search for Immortal Works. Subscribe and download a bunch of great stories. You won’t regret it. If you don’t have iTunes, you can go to YouTube and subscribe there. If you just want this one, find it HERE on the IW website.
