Yesterday, I crossed something off my bucket list… I published a poem! Better than that, I even won a contest with it. I was pretty shocked and elated. 🙂
The poem will be published in Sibyl’s Scriptorium, Volume 5.
I’m also thrilled that my story, Pre-Screening Test, as part of the GameLit Expansion Pack box set has spent some time as number 1 on Amazon’s chart for Virtual Reality! If you haven’t read it yet, get it now!
Today the Association for Mormon Letters announced their finalists. Windows into Hell is one of three short story compilations in the finals! You can see the others at their website. The award ceremony is April 22 at Utah Valley University. Now I’ll be nervous for seven weeks, but in a good way. 🙂
Maybe that’s why it’s back on the Amazon charts at #14 in Horror Anthologies.
Hey, I just made honorable mention from the Writers of the Future contest. Again. Last time I received this award for One Cog. It won two different awards, but has still never been accepted for publication anywhere. Isn’t that weird? I hope Schism gets published. I’d like to turn it into a book, but I’m juggling three books already… And loving it!
